Biz Groups Want ACA Employer Regs Now, Penalties Later

Law360, New York (June 12, 2012, 7:19 PM EDT) -- A coalition of business groups on Monday urged the federal government to stop dragging its feet on employer requirements under the health care reform law, and given the regulatory burden, delay penalties imposed on employers who don't comply until 2016.

The employer provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, slated to go into effect in 2014, are inextricably linked and must be addressed as a whole, not little by little, according to the Employers for Flexibility in Health Care Coalition.
