Judge Waives Lingering Objection To WR Grace Ch. 11 Plan

Law360, New York (June 12, 2012, 10:47 PM EDT) -- A federal judge on Monday set aside a remaining objection to W.R. Grace & Co.’s joint reorganization plan and its $84 million settlement with insurers over asbestos claims, reaffirming its approval of both five months after having signed off on them in January.

U.S. District Judge Ronald L. Buckwalter of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, sitting by designation before the District of Delaware, said the arguments brought by Garlock Sealing Technologies LLC last month still could not stand in the way of Grace's joint plan....
