Securities Filings To Jump, Settlements To Fall: Report

Law360, New York (September 14, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Though securities class action settlement values continue to skyrocket and the number of case filings has remained low, the trend may soon reverse, according to a new study published by the NERA Economic Consulting.

Results of the study, released by NERA on Friday, show that though two major trends in securities litigation have remained steady for the first half of 2007, they may be on the verge changing direction.
