Groups Urge Senate To Override NLRB's Nod To 'Micro-Unions'

Law360, New York (June 12, 2012, 9:21 PM EDT) -- Eight business groups urged U.S. Senate lawmakers on Tuesday to overturn a recent decision by the National Labor Relations Board that allegedly allows employees to form collective bargaining units smaller than unions.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Retail Industry Leaders Association, the National Restaurant Association and other business lobby groups on Tuesday sent a public letter to the members of the U.S. Senate Committee on Appropriations, including Chairman Daniel Inouye, D-Hawaii, and ranking member Thad Cochran, R-Miss.
