Ex-EpsteinBeckerGreen Partner Targeted For Petters Clawback

By Gavin Broady (June 13, 2012, 5:28 PM EDT) -- A former EpsteinBeckerGreen and Dreier LLP partner has been targeted in a new Minnesota federal court suit that is part of an effort to claw back more than $2.46 million in fraudulent transfers he was allegedly paid as a consultant for convicted fraudster Tom Petters.

Attorney Paul Traub was paid with proceeds from Petters' massive Ponzi scheme to promote Petters' business credibility and steer him towards new victims for his scam from August 2005 to May 2008, according to a complaint filed June 5 by Douglas Kelley, the receiver for Petters' business interests.
