Firm Sued Over Fees To Preempt Malpractice Claims: Lab Co.

Law360, New York (June 13, 2012, 7:57 PM EDT) -- Unigene Laboratories Inc. blasted Ostrolenk Faber LLP on Tuesday, calling the intellectual property boutique's New York federal court suit over $400,000 in unpaid fees a “transparent” attempt to head off an impending malpractice suit.

New York-based Ostrolenk filed that suit late last month, claiming it had repped Unigene for more than 18 years before the pharmaceutical company abruptly terminated their agreement and refused to pay its outstanding balance.
