P&G Seeks Ban On Kraft’s Coffee Containers

Law360, New York (September 14, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Procter & Gamble Co. has asked for a court order to block Kraft Global Foods Inc. from continuing to make and sell its Maxwell House coffee in a plastic canister that allegedly infringes one of P&G’s patents.

P&G asked for a preliminary injunction against Kraft on Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, where P&G initiated its patent infringement lawsuit on Aug. 27.
