Doctors Back CMS Board Rule Despite Hospitals' Opposition

Law360, New York (June 14, 2012, 1:41 PM EDT) -- The American Medical Association on Thursday threw its weight behind a new Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services rule requiring hospital governing boards to include a medical staff member, countering a push by two influential hospital groups urging the agency to drop the provision.
