Green Groups Sue To Scuttle Gulf Drilling Lease Sale

Law360, New York (June 18, 2012, 8:55 PM EDT) -- A coalition of environmental groups asked a Washington federal court Monday to vacate the first oil and natural gas lease sale in the same part of the Gulf of Mexico as the Deepwater Horizon spill, alleging the U.S. government failed to properly consider new offshore drilling risks.
