Mo. Appeals Court Overturns Part Of $3M Asbestos Award

Law360, New York (June 19, 2012, 6:51 PM EDT) -- A Missouri state appeals court freed Simpson Timber Co. from having to pay part of a $3 million award granted to the family of a construction worker who died of asbestos-related cancer, after a three-judge panel found Tuesday that the plaintiffs failed to prove the forest products company was responsible.
