Exercise Routines Still Not Protectable, Copyright Office Says

Law360, New York (June 21, 2012, 5:08 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Copyright Office has clarified that yoga and exercise routines and other arrangements of physical movement are not copyrightable under the Copyright Act, despite recent judicial and administrative confusion on the issue, according to a preview of Friday's Federal Register.
