General Counsel Returns To Jackson Lewis

Law360 (September 18, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Employment law firm Jackson Lewis LLP has hired Mark Askanas, former general counsel to the Fortune 500 company Ross Stores Inc., as a partner in practice at its San Francisco office, according to a statement released by the firm on Monday.

Askanas had worked for the firm before, from 1988 to 2000, as a litigator, making his hiring a “coming home of sorts,” according to a press release from the firm.

He left Jackson Lewis to join Ross in 2001.
