OPIC OKs $66M In Financing For Brazilian Businesses

Law360, New York (June 22, 2012, 8:02 PM EDT) -- The Overseas Private Investment Corp., the U.S. government's development finance institution, on Friday approved $66 million in financing for a new investment fund aimed at helping small and medium-size Brazilian businesses grow.

The fund, DGF Capital III, has a target capitalization of $200 million and will invest in the expansion of company product lines, new equipment and facilities, improving corporate governance standards and enhancing financial reporting and controls, according to OPIC.
