Chrysler, Honda Recall Half A Million Cars

Law360, New York (September 19, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Chrysler LLC and Honda Motor Co. have recalled over half a million Sports Utility Vehicles and sedans they believe could have faulty breaks, wheels or door locks.

Chrysler announced on Monday that it will reprogram the electronic control units in about 296,550 SUVs to avoid a potential delay in the cars' braking systems when they coast up hills. It is also recalling about 72,300 sedans and convertibles believed to have doors that don't lock properly.
