German Antitrust Watchdog Seeks Tougher Merger Rule Reforms

Law360, New York (June 26, 2012, 5:44 PM EDT) -- Germany's antitrust watchdog on Tuesday backed efforts to bring the country's merger rules into line with European Union practice, but warned that the proposed reforms would likely lead to increased media concentration and still left significant loopholes for cartel violators to escape sanctions.
