Top NY Jurist Pushes Sweeping Changes For Commercial Court

Law360, New York (June 26, 2012, 8:15 PM EDT) -- New York's commercial court, once a groundbreaking arena for resolving business disputes, is coming unglued under a deluge of complex cases, the state's former top judge said Tuesday, calling for sweeping changes including adding more judges, using special masters to wade through evidence and establishing a higher money threshold for cases.
