DOJ Fights Injunction Bid In "No-Match" Suit

Law360 (September 19, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Justice has opposed bids by the AFL-CIO and a business coalition for a preliminary injunction that would bar the government from sending modified no-match letter packets to employers.

In an opposition filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, government attorneys said the plaintiffs’ challenge to the no-match regulation rests on a “fundamentally false premise.”
