Calif. Court Lets Attys Keep More Witness Info Under Wraps

Law360, San Diego (June 26, 2012, 11:34 PM EDT) -- The California Supreme Court's ruling Monday that recorded witness statements are entitled to at least qualified work product protection makes it harder for opposing counsel to obtain taped witness interviews in civil cases, giving attorneys greater opportunity to collect key information without tipping their hand, attorneys say.
