Sunbeam Roasts Hamilton Beach Over Coffee Maker IP

Law360, New York (June 27, 2012, 6:38 PM EDT) -- Another coffee patent battle is brewing, with Sunbeam Products Inc. suing Hamilton Beach Brands Inc. on Tuesday for allegedly infringing a Sunbeam patent in making the Hamilton Beach BrewStation coffee maker.

A year after Hamilton Beach accused Sunbeam of infringing a patent to make a brew basket for Sunbeam's Mr. Coffee, Sunbeam has sued its rival for using Sunbeam's patented features in the BrewStation.
