FDA Moves Forward On Study Of Drug Ad Offers

Law360, New York (June 27, 2012, 2:48 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration said Wednesday it had received the go-ahead to research the effects of promotional offers in direct-to-consumer prescription drug print advertising, a study the agency first proposed nearly two years ago.

The Office of Management and Budget approved the FDA’s request to collect information to conduct the study, according to a notice published in the Federal Register.
