Ron Paul's Bill To Audit Fed Heads To House Floor

Law360, Washington (June 27, 2012, 4:22 PM EDT) -- Texas Republican Rep. Ron Paul's bill to audit the Federal Reserve got a thumbs-up Wednesday by a U.S. House of Representatives committee and will head to the House floor next month.

The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee passed H.R. 459 — the Federal Reserve Transparency Act — with a voice vote Wednesday; it had already been on the House agenda for a full vote in July before the committee officially moved it forward.
