American Airlines' New Labor Agreements Get Go-Ahead

Law360, New York (June 28, 2012, 7:28 PM EDT) -- A New York bankruptcy judge on Thursday agreed to allow AMR Corp.'s American Airlines Inc. to enter new labor agreements with five groups represented by the Transport Workers Union after extending a deadline for ruling on contracts with other employees.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Sean Lane granted the airline's request to approve the TWU agreements with the five groups that voted in favor of them, an attorney for AMR confirmed.
