Calif. Sued Over Ballot Placement Of Gov.'s Tax Initiative

Law360, San Diego (June 29, 2012, 10:54 PM EDT) -- Gov. Jerry Brown's tax hike initiative, which could help stop further funding cuts to the courts, is set to be placed near the top of the California election ballot in November, but a competing tax campaign filed suit Thursday, claiming that its own measure should appear above the governor's initiative.
