EU Cos. Want Inclusive SEC Accounting Standards

Law360, New York (September 24, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Hoping their market clout will sway the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, a coalition of European business associations has called the agency’s recent move toward internationalizing its accepted accounting standards a step in the right direction but ultimately insufficient.
