Utah AG Sues Slew Of Drug Cos. Over AWPs

Law360, New York (September 25, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Another state has sued a slew of drug companies over average wholesale prices for drugs, saying the companies colluded to inflate drug prices and rip off the government.

Utah’s attorney general, Mark Shurtleff, filed the lawsuit on Friday against the drug companies, including Barr Laboratories Inc., Endo Pharmaceuticals Inc., Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc., Par Pharmaceutical Inc., Ranbaxy Pharmaceuticals Inc., Sandoz Inc., Teva Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. and Watson Pharmaceuticals Inc.
