Professors Union Barred By High Court, Group Tells NLRB

Law360, New York (July 11, 2012, 5:45 PM EDT) -- The National Right to Work Foundation on Wednesday came out hard against academic organized labor in a National Labor Relations Board case involving the unionization of university professors, arguing the U.S. Supreme Court has ruled against the unionization of college faculty.

The case involves the Newspaper Guild of Pittsburgh/Communications Workers of America Local 38061, and its organizers' push to unionize professors at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, according to the NRWF.
