Sens. Make New Push To Extend Wind Tax Credit

Law360, New York (July 12, 2012, 8:44 PM EDT) -- Three lawmakers renewed their push for an extension of a popular tax credit for the wind energy industry Wednesday, seeking to tack the measure as an amendment onto a small-business bill under debate in Congress.

Sens. Mark Udall and Michael Bennet, both Colorado Democrats, and Jerry Moran, R-Kan., filed an amendment to the Small Business Jobs and Tax Relief Act, S. 2237, that would enact a two-year authorization of the production tax credit for wind power.
