AstraZeneca Asks For More Discovery Time

Law360 (September 26, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- AstraZeneca has asked for more time to produce documents in the Seroquel multidistrict litigation, saying that complying with U.K. and Swedish data-protection laws has delayed its ability to process and produce the documents.

In a motion filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, AstraZeneca said that it met a Sept. 8 deadline and produced documents from 10 additional custodians of the documents at that time. But it will not be able to meet an Oct. 1 deadline to produce documents...
