Konica Minolta Sued Over Printer Patents

Law360, New York (September 27, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Software company Tesseron Ltd. on Wednesday filed suit against Konica Minolta Business Solutions USA Inc. and its Japanese parent company, claiming certain printing systems and printer controllers sold by the imaging company in the United States infringe eight Tesseron patents.

In a complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, Tesseron alleged that Konica Minolta’s variable-enabled printing systems, including the C351, C450, C500 and C6500 models which use EFI Fiery or Creo variable printer controllers, “embody the inventions described and claimed”...
