Ban On New DOL H-2B Rules Harms Workers, 11th Circ. Hears

Law360, New York (July 18, 2012, 9:42 PM EDT) -- Workers rights groups on Monday urged the Eleventh Circuit to overturn a preliminary injunction barring the U.S Department of Labor from implementing its new H-2B visa rules, saying the injunction harms the workers the regulations were meant to protect.

Transnational migrants' rights organization Centro de los Derechos del Migrante Inc. filed a proposed amicus brief in support of the DOL's appeal of the injunction.
