PMA Capital Pays $15M To Settle Public Offerings Suit

Law360, New York (September 28, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Class action firm Milberg Weiss has announced a proposed $15 million deal with PMA Capital Corp. and its underwriters to settle a shareholder suit connected to the company's three public offerings.

The firm notified potential claimants on Friday, having reached an agreement-in-principle with the insurance holding company in August to settle the four-year-old securities fraud class action.

Members of the class, who purchased PMA common stock between May 1999 and November 2003, have until Nov. 20 to voice their objections to the settlement.
