DOJ Aims To Keep Rare Price-Fixing Plea Out Of Future Cases

Law360, New York (July 18, 2012, 6:55 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Justice on Tuesday urged the judge weighing a no-contest plea by Florida West International Airways Inc. in a criminal price-fixing case to explain his decision should he allow the unusual plea, a move aimed at limiting the decision's usefulness to future cartel defendants seeking to avoid a guilty plea.
