FTC Launches Pilot International Fellowship Program

Law360, New York (September 28, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Federal Trade Commission has launched a pilot program to encourage cooperation between different nations' competition agencies, inviting officials from other countries' agencies to work temporarily at the FTC.

"We hope that the rigor of our analysis of competition and consumer protection will become apparent to our foreign colleagues, so they can observe the care and detail that's required to conduct a foreign investigation," said FTC spokesperson James Hammill.
