Honda Recalls 320K Crossovers, Sedans Over Faulty Doors

Law360, New York (July 19, 2012, 5:57 PM EDT) -- Honda Motor Co. recalled over 320,000 vehicles on Thursday after uncovering a flaw in the door latches of two of their most popular models that could result in the doors unexpectedly swinging open.

Honda is voluntarily recalling 166,609 of their top-selling 2012 CR-V compact sport utility vehicles and 6,229 model-year 2013 Acura ILX luxury sedans in the U.S. after learning that simultaneous operation of the door handles and the door locks could partially disengage the inner door handle’s release cable, the company said in a statement....
