Mesa Air CFO Takes Flight Amid Controversy

Law360, New York (September 28, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The chief financial officer of Mesa Air Group has been placed on administrative leave after a judge reportedly rejected claims that he accidentally deleted key files connected to a dispute with Hawaiian Airlines while attempting to rid his computer of pornography.

On Friday, Mesa Air Group revealed that its board of directors had opted to give George “Peter” Murnane III a 90-day breather as the company investigates charges of misconduct related to the ongoing litigation with Hawaiian Airlines.
