Spouse Of Triangle VP Settles Insider Trading Suit

Law360, New York (October 1, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The husband of a former pharmaceutical executive has agreed to pay $23,800 to resolve claims of insider trading leveled by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The settled charges, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina on Thursday, alleged Daniel Joseph McKay misappropriated material and nonpublic information from his wife, a senior manager at Triangle Pharmaceuticals Inc.
