Insurance Industry Eyes European Regulation: Report

Law360, New York (July 23, 2012, 10:01 PM EDT) -- The U.S. insurance industry will continue to be challenged by Dodd-Frank provisions and new rules that took effect in the first half of this year governing unclaimed life insurance or death benefits, but developments in Europe will heavily influence U.S. insurance policy going forward, according to a report released Friday by Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP.
