BOEM To Lease 20M Acres In Gulf Under New Plan

Law360, New York (July 23, 2012, 5:04 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Ocean Energy Management will lease more than 20 million acres offshore from Texas for oil and gas drilling, the first such sale under a recently announced five-year federal offshore leasing plan, the agency announced Monday.
