Ex-Aide Fired For Affair Sues Minn. Senate For Sex Bias

Law360, New York (July 23, 2012, 6:43 PM EDT) -- A former Minnesota Senate communications aide sued the Senate in state court Monday, claiming gender discrimination for his termination following allegations that he was having an affair with Sen. Amy Koch.

Michael Brodkorb, former communications director for the Minnesota Senate Majority Caucus claims that while women who have been involved in similar workplace affairs with politicians have kept their jobs, he lost his because he is a man.
