Oracle Will Pull IBM-Disputed Ad Claims, Watchdog Says

Law360, Chicago (July 25, 2012, 1:41 PM EDT) -- An advertising industry self-regulation group said Tuesday that Oracle Corp. agreed to pull certain comparative performance claims for its Exadata database machines that the group found, after a challenge by IBM Corp., were too broad, but added Oracle vowed to appeal the group's decision.
