Animal Med Co. Says Rival Got Trade Secrets From Ex-Workers

Law360, New York (July 25, 2012, 4:38 PM EDT) -- Animal-medicine distributor Animal Health International Inc. and a subsidiary sued rival Ivesco Holdings LLC in Arkansas federal court Monday for allegedly stealing trade secrets and confidential information when it hired away three sales representatives.

The suit was removed to federal court Monday after it was filed in Arkansas state court on May 7.

Former Animal Health employees David Nelson, Richard Hirsbrunner and Amanda Wroble signed employment agreements that contained confidentiality and noncompete provisions in 2003, 2005 and 2010, respectively, according to the suit.
