Mich. Judge Blocks Club's Bid To Halt Mine Project

Law360, New York (July 25, 2012, 6:55 PM EDT) -- A federal judge on Wednesday blocked a private club's bid to halt construction on a Kennecott Eagle Minerals Co. nickel and copper mine in Michigan's Upper Peninsula over environmental concerns, saying it had failed to make a strong enough case to justify the economic harm of a work stoppage.
