Iraq Blacklists Chevron After Kurdistan Deals

Law360, New York (July 25, 2012, 7:24 PM EDT) -- Iraq's oil ministry on Tuesday banned Chevron Corp. from contracts in central and southern Iraq after the company bought stakes in two oil exploration blocks in Iraq's Kurdistan last week, making Chevron the second oil company, after Exxon Mobil Corp., to be blacklisted.
