Toyota Recalls Lexuses, Rav4s Over Crash Potential

Law360, New York (August 2, 2012, 12:40 PM EDT) -- Toyota Motor Sales Inc. on Wednesday announced the recall of 778,000 Toyota Rav4 and Lexus HS 250h models, saying the vehicles are vulnerable to crashes if the nuts on the rear suspension arm are not properly tightened during a wheel alignment procedure.

The voluntary safety recall covers an estimated 760,000 RAV4 sport utility vehicles from model year 2006 to early 2011 and 18,000 model year 2010 HS 250h hybrids sold in the U.S., the company said.
