Trucking Co. ABF's $750M Union Concession Suit Stalls Again

Law360, New York (August 2, 2012, 1:45 PM EDT) -- An Arkansas federal judge on Wednesday once again tossed ABF Freight System Inc.'s $750 million lawsuit claiming the International Brotherhood of Teamsters granted selective wage and hour concessions to a rival trucking company.

U.S. District Judge Susan W. Wright, hearing the case again after the Eighth Circuit overruled an earlier decision to toss it, said ABF should have brought its grievance against the Teamsters and rival YRC Inc. in an internal dispute resolution system, not in a federal court.
