Sens. Roll Out Package To Bolster Manufacturing and Trade

Law360, New York (August 2, 2012, 5:07 PM EDT) -- Five U.S. senators on Wednesday introduced a bipartisan legislative package aimed at boosting U.S. manufacturing, competiveness and exports through a series of measures that included job training and preventing foreign exporters from evading antidumping and countervailing duty orders.

Sen. Mark Pryor, D-Ark., along with Sens. Roy Blunt, R-Mo.; Mark Warner, D-Va.; Olympia Snowe, R-Maine; and Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, introduced S. 3479, Building a Stronger America Act, which the bill’s sponsors said focused on strengthening U.S. manufacturing, providing a “level playing field” for companies and bolstering trade....
