EU To Probe Ryanair's $843M Aer Lingus Takeover

Law360, New York (August 2, 2012, 3:36 PM EDT) -- The European Commission will investigate possible antitrust concerns over Irish low-cost airline Ryanair Holdings PLC's proposed €694 million ($843 million) acquisition of Aer Lingus Group PLC, the commission said Thursday, two days after Aer Lingus urged shareholders to reject the takeover bid.
