Lens.com Can't Regain 'Lens' Software Mark: Fed. Circ.

Law360, New York (August 3, 2012, 5:41 PM EDT) -- In a precedential opinion, the Federal Circuit on Friday rejected Lens.com Inc.'s bid to revive its trademark registration for “lens” in connection with software, saying the company's software was merely a conduit for its retail services and had no independent value.
