AstraZeneca Gets Cases Tossed In Seroquel MDL

Law360, New York (October 4, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The judge overseeing product liability litigation over AstraZeneca’s blockbuster drug Seroquel has granted the drug giant’s request to throw out a slew of cases.

U.S. District Court Judge Anne C. Conway issued the order in chambers on Wednesday, dismissing with prejudice the suits of 77 plaintiffs who had failed to timely serve documents on the pharmaceutical maker.
