Monsanto's Corn Patent Not Infringed: Fed. Circ.

Law360, New York (October 4, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An appeals court on Thursday handed a victory to Swiss biotech company Syngenta AG in its long-running patent dispute with American rival Monsanto Co., upholding a lower court’s ruling that Syngenta had not violated three of Monsanto’s patents on a strain of genetically modified corn by using the plant’s seeds.
